2008 National Wreath Project; Quantico National Cemetery
Once again a special thanks to Giant Food and ABF Freighht Systems. Without their commitment the National Wreath Project would not be where it is today. Early on Saturday Decmeber 6th, Lionel Thomas pulled the ABF Freight Systems Inc. truck into Quantico National Cemetery. ReloCubes were quickly put in place awaiting the arrival of volunteers. The weather cooperated once again, the air was crisp and  the skies clear.

Navy Chaplain, Commander Brent Johnson from Marine Corps Base Quantico, joined us this year to share his thoughts with the volunteers. Karl MacDonald, Cemetery Director, John McColley, Board Members Stan Clark, Cheryl McColley Newbanks, Susan McColley and Don Farren were on hand to greet the volunteers, before they gathered for the annual group photo.
Volunteers come n all sizes, Eric Newbanks waits with his mother Cheryl. New this year were representatives from American Legion Post 194 in Arlington. Don Cole and Mark Wherely from Adams County Public Television volunteered to document the event. Volunteers line up to receive wreaths.
