We are grateful to Harris Teeter for selling us the wreaths at their cost and Harley Davidson of New Bern for providing the trailer to transport the wreaths to the cemetery
Saturday, December 4, 2010 was a rainy day but volunteers showed up early in the parking lot in front of Harris Teeter Food Store in New Bern. Members of Amercian Legion Post 24, New Bern HOG Chapter, a Corvette Club and many more gathered to fasten red bows to each of the 1000 wreaths to soon be placed in New Bern National Cemetery.
